Now that you’ve learned to edit tasks, we’re going to learn about lists. Topics covered in this video include how to create lists, reorder them, add a theme to them, and change how they are sorted.
To create a new list, click on “New list” and begin typing a name for your list. When you are ready, hit enter and a new list will be created. To move it’s position, simply and click and drag.
To add a theme to your list, select it from the panel on the left, and then click the three dots in the upper right corner. Click on a theme to select it. To change how the list is sorted, move your cursor to “sort by.”
There a five different sorting options for lists. Importance will put tasks that you have designated as important on the top. Due date sorts them by due date. Added to my day will arrange tasks based on whether you added them to the “my day” smart list, which we will cover in more detail in a later video. Alphabetically will sort tasks according to their name. And creation date will sort tasks based on when you created them. I’ll go ahead and select due date. After you have selected a sorting method, you can click on the method here to inverse the order. Since I selected due date, items due later will now be on top and the ones due sooner on the bottom.
Finally, to delete a list, return to the three-dot menu and click delete list at the bottom.
